Dear Polinka,
Please forgive me that I do not write too often. It is not important. All of us and ours are healthy. Daddy’s still working. I am going tomorrow for a test and I will write you about it later. I met very intelligent people. One of those is a writer. I acquired many admirers. I also met many students and some of them really like me. Some them are “hot,” but you know that I don’t like those. One of those students is trying to help me to take French courses for free, but I don’t know if it is going to happen. If so, I could teach one and one-half years after and it would be great. Patronage? Influence? It’s all who you know or they won’t hire me. You need someone to pull strings. Please write to me, Polya, if you are still seeing him. I kiss you. I hug you. Greetings from the aunts and uncles, Liska, Abramovich, and all of the family.
Nina
