My dear Poline,

I am sending you this card accordingly. My greetings and my wishes of much happiness and wellness. It has been the third day of tiresome waiting. I waited for something from you, and I didn’t receive anything and it is sad. I will be ready by the 8th of May, but I also have to go to a central place, but it is not important. I feel lonely because I am not used to sitting without doing anything. I am concerned regarding that letter in which I told you about Galenka. Since I didn’t hear any news about him, please tell me about him. My darling, my soul, my lovely heart. I am kissing you. Uncle Ooch.
