Postcard to Poline from Aron

Odessa to Paris
Rue Vieille du Temple 41
My darling friend, Poline. I am well and healthy. I wish you the same. It is a second day since I am in Odessa. I spent my time with interest, but I miss you. I feel like I left you in Kishinev, and you are waiting for me. I am going home in the evening, and I am not going to the store. I am going to take a rest tomorrow at home, and I will write a letter and details to you. I cannot write letters here. The post office is closed. All of the stores are closed, and I even can’t send any newspapers to you. I don’t understand. I am writing to you every day. Do you receive them? I am so upset that my hand does not agree with me to write. Be healthy. I kiss you. Uncle Ooch.
